Boarding

NWB Dogs understands that dogs aren’t meant to be shut in kennels all day. Boarding dogs get so much more than just their basic needs of food, water and toileting met. Throughout their stay we engage them both physically and mentally.  Periods of structured socialization and downtime are mixed in with one-on-one play or pack walks on-leash.  Our aim is to simulate a balanced pack lifestyle the way nature intended while also maintaining the bond between human handler and dog. Your dog will receive exercise, plenty of socialization with dogs, and as much human TLC as they need all while maintaining structure and boundaries.

Adventure Boarders (off-leash reliable boarding dogs only) get even more action and get the opportunity when possible to be taken biking, hiking, skiing, or on any other number of exciting outings in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.  Dogs who need a little less excitement in their lives or who aren’t off-leash reliable will enjoy individual attention or extended yard-time, games or play sessions. Your dog won’t come home anxious from being in a kennel all day or over-stimulated from being given 100% freedom and play-time like many in-home or kennel-free facilities. You can leave home at ease knowing your pup will be enjoying every day to the fullest in a safe, constructive environment.
